I writer for a personal development blog and it’s time for a Jerry Seinfeld moment….What’s the deal with complete fat asses riding around on ‘rascals’ in grocery stores. Checking out at Wal-Mart last night, I got stuck behind not one, but TWO complete fat asses on their damn motorized lazy machines. WTF! I felt bad, however all I could think about was the total draws on society these people were. I mean when the average person can’t afford health care or insurance because of a system that is so easily taken advantage of, it leads me to totally resent these takers. I mean Judas Priest, give me a break. After analyzing the total drag on society these lazy f***s were, I checked out what was in their baskets. No surprise; the food they were buying consisted of shitty ground beef, box onion rings, fries, cakes, cookies, packaged EVERYTHING, nasty fatty steaks, etc. You get the idea. What a freaking joke! I mean can these people honestly not feel embarrassed riding around on their damn scooters buying disgusting, unhealthy, sugar filled, fat ridden, extremely processed food?? Yes I’m sure these two individuals have plenty of diseases, and that’s why they can’t walk or exercise…well guess what? Every disease they have has come as a result of life style choices. It’s time for society to take a step back. These people are not ‘disabled’ in the traditional sense. Wal-Mart should not be forced to ‘accommodate’ these ‘disabled’ people. Society should not have to pay for their f****** terrible life decisions. My health insurance shouldn’t be outrageous because of their frequent visits to the doctor to get the magic pill to ‘cure’ all of their many lifestyle driven ailments.

America is getting disgustingly overweight…Why?? It’s simple. People are increasingly eating solely based on taste. Nutrition is a foreign concept. From a personal development perspective, this is going to take some major changes.
Food is meant to provide us with sustained energy. It is not meant to be a temporary escape, or drug. Nutrition should be the number one priority, not taste. If it tastes good it’s a bonus.
I’m not saying this to beat on my chest. I’m the first to admit that I’m not perfect and changing my mindset from 1 to 10 is a total work in progress. But let’s get a grip on reality shall we? Yes, these people need help. However, being accommodated with a lazy machine is not helping!!! Being given food stamps to go buy boxed up grease and sugar IS NOT HELP! Also, we as a society need to take back our health through awareness. Sounds cliché, but we have been completely brainwashed by corporate food manufactures! “Supersize Me” was a start towards creating awareness of the results these corporately manufactured, and marketed foods are doing to America. However, we need a whole lot MORE awareness pointing out the REALITY of the direct effect that nutrition has on the quality of one’s life.
